3. Also take a look at the fee for service online medical plans that are now readily available online. These particular plans require you to pay monthly premiums in order to qualify for the services that they provide. This will usually equate to some proportion of your medical costs and usually sits at around 20%. Unfortunately with this particular plan you may find that you do not always get to see either the doctor or go to the hospital that you want. The decision will be left to the insurance provider.
